We would love to invite you to a service on Sunday or to any of our events. If you’re new to Highrock, Sunday worship is a good place to start. To get to know us better, stick around after service to get to know our pastors and other Highrockers! Whether you're looking for a church or a place to ask questions and connect with God, we look forward to seeing you soon!

Worship team
Sundays at 9:00am

Sunday service at Highrock is a place to rejoice, revive, and rest. A place for community, where we worship, serve, eat, and laugh together. A place where messy and broken people come to encounter a loving God who desires to heal and make whole. A place where we find strength in following Christ together.

We worship in a variety of ways, through songs, stories, creative arts, and sermons. We value relevance, while adhering to centuries-old Christian traditions, and incorporate both ancient and contemporary elements in our worship. Every first Sunday of the month, we celebrate Communion, the Lord’s Supper.

Come as you are! Some people come in t-shirts and jeans, and others come business casual. There is no expectation that you should dress in a certain way to be here at Highrock!

Every Sunday, downstairs

Head downstairs after the service for a cup of coffee or tea and snacks. It’s a great opportunity to make connections and meet new people!

Kids & Youth

Highrock’s youngest members (nursery through pre-k) meet in the religious education rooms on the second floor next to the Sanctuary. Elementary classes meet in the parsonage addition. You can check in right in the foyer through the front door and our Kidsrock volunteers will help your child find their way!

Youth Group

At Highrock, we believe the process of discipleship begins long before an individual is cognizant of their journey with the Lord. Therefore, our Youth Ministry exists to help students grow to know and experience Jesus Christ in such a way that equips and propels them to connect with God, God's people, and God's purposes in the world. We exist to be a safe place for students to ask hard questions, explore what it means to live a life committed to God’s will and Word, and celebrate God's work in and through their lives on a daily basis.

Currently, our Youth Group meets every Sunday evening from 5-7pm. Every week includes enjoying dinner together, studying the Bible, and playing games!

Getting Here

Highrock's Main Sanctuary

We meet at 292 Lafayette Street, Salem, MA 01970.
Note: We rent space from the First Baptist Church of Salem, but are not corporately affiliated with them.

You can park in any legal space along any of the side streets (e.g. Ocean Ave). Parking is also available at the North Shore Infant and Toddler lot (275 Lafayette Street).

Walk to Highrock from Salem State University

We're within walking distance of North Campus. Walk north to the new School of Social Work, cross the street, and say hello!

Need a Ride?

Let us know and we will connect you with a driver near you!

The 455 bus from Wonderland/Central Square Lynn makes a stop just down the street from the First Baptist Church building. Get off the bus at the stop "Lafayette St @ Ocean Ave" and walk 138 feet.

Highrock is accessible because we want to include everyone around God's table, including those with special physical challenges. There are designated handicapped parking spaces on Lafayette Street in front of the church building. There is a handicap accessible entrance on the right of the building that leads to the sanctuary. Restrooms are located on the same main floor, to the left of the sanctuary.

In both our strengths and our limitations, we each reflect essential elements of the image of God. We hope that you will feel welcome here so that the image of God we reflect will be more complete.

Rest of the Week

There’s always something going on at Highrock! At Highrock, we believe we are called to live in community with one another.

We recognize intentional relationships may be more difficult to foster in a large group setting. In order to provide a regular, safe place for relationships to grow, we have developed LifeGroups. If you're looking to get connected, any of our community groups (LifeGroups) are a great place to start.

There are many ways to get connected to our community. Check the Calendar to see a list of our upcoming events!
