Start the year centered on Christ! Come to Highrock Cambridge to pray for God to move in the Boston area, for our churches, and for personal joys and concerns.
This week we're back at First Baptist Church at our regular service time (9:00am) and we'll be continuing our sermon series Devoted: Teaching and Togetherness for 2000 Years.
Here are a few things coming up in the next couple weeks:
Come join Dane Street Church for a fun night of swing dancing! There will be a lesson for beginners from 7:30-8pm followed by open dancing from 8-10pm featuring live music from the local swing band, Avocates. Light refreshments will be provided. The suggested donation is $10, and all proceeds will go towards the Dane Street Church Youth Ministry.
Our second preview service in Beverly will be on the 26th! You're invited to join us following the service for a potluck-style lunch. Sign up to bring a dish here.
More details about the service here.
In just a few weeks (Feb. 9th), we'll be voting on whether or not to adopt Dane Street Church. Join us at one last town hall to hear about how things have been progressing and what we're learning in the process, to voice any last questions, and pray together as a community.
Night to Shine is an EPIC prom experience that's both fun and accessible for individuals with disabilities. We pull out all the stops: from limo rides to a red carpet welcome and epic dance parties to a karaoke room and photo booth.
It takes a lot of hands to put on such an incredible and intentional event, and we're hoping to recruit a group of volunteers with diverse gifts and passions so we can make this the best night possible! Anyone age 14 and older can volunteer in a wide variety of areas - from collecting dress donations or serving food to providing shoe shines or serving as a buddy for one of our guests. If you're interested in volunteering, register here. The deadline to sign up is in 1 week (January 24th)!
