Today we want to share an important change regarding the future of the Highrock Network and our shared life together. Nothing is changing immediately, but we want to share the direction we are discerning for the future.
If you’ve been around Beverly for a bit, you may know that the Saturday before Thanksgiving is the Day of the Holiday Fairs!
Our Holiday Fair is festive and fun, its joyful and jolly, and if you’re not feeling the holiday spirit by November 20th, coming to and serving at the holiday fair fills you up and kicks off the holiday season.
We have been hosting our holiday fair for over 75 years or more and it seemed to have started as a yard sale to raise money for missions. Over the years its evolved to sometimes include breakfast sandwiches and lunch, a silent auction with local business donations. The fair also has had craft vendors, more food like popcorn, fudge, large pickles, little brownie Christmas trees and reindeer pretzels, carolers, a prayer room, a silly photo booth, a gift wrapping station, kids shopping room and more. This year will look different than others in light of Covid precautions, but it will be no less fun!
We invited our youth group to choose a ministry partner to support with whatever money is raised, and they selected Fostering Hope!
And now the next part is up to you! We need your help. The fair is made possible by you!
There are so many ways you can help us. Check out the registration page for more ways to serve and sign up for what would be fun and most life-giving to you!
