Highrock Spiritual Guides

What is Spiritual Guides?

Our lives are so often busy and loud; loud with school, work, children, friends, spouses, and living. There are so many things intruding in our minds that we often do not have, or can’t figure out how to carve out, a quiet space to reflect on the ways God is working in our lives. Highrock Spiritual Guides ministry gives us an opportunity to reflect intentionally together. Through our time together, we will be listening, reflecting, and prayerfully considering how God is working in our midst. As we begin to see the ways God is at work, we will begin to see the ways God is at work in each other. Seeing God at work in ourselves and each other gives us the opportunity to extend compassion and love toward each other. We are all sojourners on this road of life: Let’s walk together.

Our Mission

The mission of Highrock Spiritual Guides is to provide individualized spiritual care and direction to all of Highrock’s Partners (members) on a regular basis by a trained lay leader or staff member. Our prayer is that through the assistance of Highrock Guides, each of Highrock’s Partners will be better able to connect to God personally, connect to God’s people, and connect to God’s purposes on this journey of life! Ultimately, we hope that our Partners will use Highrock Guides meetings as opportunities to pause, listen, reflect on how God is working, and come up with a practical next step in their walk with Christ.

Each Highrock Partner is strongly encouraged to meet with their Highrock Guides once per year in order to renew membership in the church community. Think of it as your opportunity to receive a free “spiritual check-up” and to enjoy individualized care from church leaders. Meetings will last for one hour and are 2:1 (two Guides will meet with you together in your meeting).

We hope to help you experience transformation through:
