Transforming Our Minds: Letting Go of Who You Think You Should Be & Embracing Who You Are

*10 week class, see registration page for timing

In this workshop, we’ll focus on healing the thought patterns we learn over a lifetime that keep us from being the people that God has created us to be - aiming to move away from insecurity, shame, competition, and self-doubt (Rom. 12:2) toward true belief in our belonging and beloved-ness in Christ. We’ll study Scripture, explore our personal stories, learn about our neurobiology, and practice exercises from The Daring Way™, an experiential curriculum on courage, compassion, and connection designed by researcher Dr. Brené Brown.

This class includes one Friday evening and Saturday retreat at the church, plus 8 Wednesday gatherings during Lent, 7-8:30pm.

Reading Required: Daring Greatly by Dr. Brené Brown, The Soul of Shame by Dr. Curt Thompson, and additional articles and chapters as assigned.

Led by Pastors Brynn Harrington & Marcus Privitt.
